LUXURY GUIDE TO AUCKLAND
What makes Auckland a great luxury destination
From stunning beaches, to authentic Maori culture, delicious wine, gourmet restaurants, luxury accommodation, Heli tours, and vibrant city life full of personality, Auckland will charm you with its endless variation.
Auckland is the gateway to the rest of New Zealand, with an extraordinary offering of its own.
Go from fine-dining restaurants, art galleries, culture, and city life, to gorgeous beaches, oh-so-beautiful wineries, and easily accessible islands in the Hauraki Gulf, such as the Great Barrier Island, known for its wildlife.
Only Auckland offers so much, and that’s what makes it so appealing.
BEST TIME TO GO AND WEATHER
There is always a good time
Auckland is a great all-year-around destination. The best time to go depends on what you’re looking for.
While the summer season between November – February (temperature range: 20-30 C) will spoil you with gorgeous beaches, water activities and lots of events, you’ll be able to keep yourself busy in the winter season (temperature range: 9-15 C) too. Visit the wineries or a volcano, and familiarize yourself with the great selection of restaurants and bars.
The spring season between August – November (temperature range: 8-19 C) is a good time to visit if you would like to avoid the crowds.
Almost no matter when you end up coming here, it’s still recommended to pack a little bit extra for every season. In addition to its vibrant city life, Auckland is known for its unpredictable weather.
